Hi English teachers,
this is the first time I have used the phrasal verb "know of".
Could I ask if I have used it correctly?Many thanks for your guidance in advance.
Do you know of the missing purse?

That is correct and quite appropriate. We also might alternatively use the word about....as in "Do you know about the missing purse? "
