This is a decent editorial. Several years ago, I tried to launch a discussion on the Founding Fathers here and was met with the most hand-wringing criticism.

All I wanted to do was to have an intelligent, supported discussion of how these men were neither villains nor saints.

I could not believe that an attempt to be neutral, analytical and informative, to both listen and speak, would be met with such a blockade.
