Revised medical report: NO QB, Drew Brees, has a bruised rotator cuff (repaired rotator cuff in '06) not torn. 'He's most probably not going to be available for this week's game. He still has no deep threat receiver so it'd make no sense to risk it. His backup McCowan is decent but they'll be trying running it a lot is my guess. OTOH, Carolina's Luke Keuchly was injured too...I believe. Checking ...

As of last Sunday ...Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly out Sunday with concussion protocol.

Seattle Seahawks are getting Kam Chancellor back. He stopped his holdout. To my knowledge he'll be playing...against Bears.

@ossobuco,
George and Crat - I'll give up on my fanciful idea that SF would win over Arizona.

Ok, after winning week 1, I had a setback last week. Time to get back on track with some tough picks. Here they are:

Washington
Dallas
Indianapolis (still back and forth on, surprisingly)
Cleveland
Cincinnati
New England
Carolina
NY Jets
Houston
San Diego
Pittsburgh
Arizona
Miami (still back and forth on this one too)
Seattle (time for their first win)
Denver
Green Bay (20-16) tough lost in game 2 by KC means a game 3 loss.

I'm also back and forth on the Thursday night game. That one could change.

Ok, after more thought, I have a couple changes.

First off I'd like to take the Giants over Washington
Next, I'd like to take Atlanta over Dallas but won't be upset if Dallas wins.

Give him our regards.
And tell him I was thinking of him during Game 1.

I thought someone would pick the Jags for an upset.
The Patriots may be taking them for granted.
