In the early years of our century the Canadian military was one of the largest and most powerful. Who in the years between 1900-Present brought the Gigantic up to date Canadian military to a force that Sadaam would have laughted at??

I don't know really, if your claim in that question or the information given on the Canadian Military Heritage and in various encyclopedias is correct.

But since you live there, you certainly have more and better information.

It was 4th(on allied side) largest in WW2 and now is one of the smallest and most horribly equipped (i think we use ww2 tanks with...... slight modifications. Also our navy is entirely made form British hand me downs.

Canada has a military?

Just bustin' chops... Razz Much props to our neighbors in the north, particulary for their hand in the D-Day invasion.

Well, they gave our county the ice-stadium and me much pleasure with their CAE (Radio Canadian Army Europe).

Yea! They only have enough manpower and military might to defend their own country! They don't have a 2 trillion dollar military budget like ours! They spend hardly any money on the miltary but spend billions on health care! What's up with that? Are they SMART or something?
