What to do about the Sudan?

Just wondering, with millions driven from their homes, countless tens of thousands slaughtered, many more to die from the resulting disease/starvation, at what point is the rest of the world going to give Africa the attention it deserves?

Using the humanitarian rational that was bandied about to justify the Iraq invasion, whats stopping us and the world from really doing something substantial about this?

Just a general link with background info on the topic:

US troops and resources are tied up with another liberation, so it is time for france, germany, even canada to step up and commit some of their troops to the sudan.

That's a good thought Karzak, but they would never risk their lives over anything more than rhetoric and criticism these days. They will send it to that wonderful UN who will talk and talk about it until the crisis is over and the Sudan has become another Rwanda.

That is sad, and yet some give these countries a voice when their own actions, or lack of actions show that voice to be hollow.

Aside from every other problem in Africa, there's still the problem of malaria, which is still the biggest killer in the continent.
