Fishin', I agree with the concept, and they may have made the decision before the whole Ryan thing, but Obama currently has one of the clearest paths to the Senate of any Democrat in the U.S. -- I don't think he really needs any extra help.

But that's part of why he's nice and inspirational, lookit this Democrat who's going to win in a landslide.

Re Obama--yeah to what sozobe said, and the Dems have been taking it on the chin relative to not having many blacks in the "spotlight" to match Powell, Rice and others... They need to show some color. IMO.

I don'tknow where we'llscare upreasonable opposition to Obama at this late date. So glad we didn't throw up Ditka.
