How to Fix Sype Click to Call Not Working

Please share if you have any ideas. my skype click to call just stopped working. none of the numbers are highlighted. Checking online for hours to find some solutions to try, i have uninstalled chrome. i uninstalled slype, disabled and removed everything. re installed every thing like 10 times now. I have updated with the new skype for web. have plug in,have extenstions and still nothing works. i am stumped -
