Which one would be the close to the meaning of this phrase " Where there is life, there is hope"
"dum vita est spes est"
"Dum spiro spero"
"Dum anima est, spes est"
"Modo liceat vivere, est spes"

dum vita est spes est -> while there is life there is hope
Dum spiro spero -> While I breathe, I hope
Dum anima est, spes est -> While there is life (anima also means spirit or
soul), there is hope.
Modo liceat vivere, est spes -> If only we may be allowed to live, there is
hope.

A more literal translation:
Ubi vita, ibi spes
