I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but so what . . . the starling was introduced more than a century ago (for truly idiotic reasons), and many native species were driven out of their habitats. The red wing blackbird, though, has made a comeback, because it has nested in the medians and the brush on the sides of interstate highways.
