POTOO

The Common Potoo is a nocturnal bird that during the day sleep perched in branches like if it was a dry branch, camouflaged thanks to the disruptive coloration that helps them avoid detection. Photo by Javier Aznar González de Rueda

@edgarblythe,
If I saw a tough looking bird with that beak like that wearing a court ordered tracking band, I would give it lots of space

@roger,
I saw one shot of him today, with a whole murder of wild crows. Looked like they had a party.

Crows had been attacking this eagle. When it flew off, one landed on the eagle's back, to continue the attack.

@edgarblythe,
Are you kidding me? I know crows are smart, but hitching a ride?

And where was the photographer? Hanging by a string off the ledge of a cliff?
