Rules:

1) Whoever takes it up first is my opponent.

2) You can only use notation, you can't use a board, visualize the game (on the honour system of course).

It was an interesting mixture of trash-talk and blunder. Laughing Pretty rough rules you got there. I have a hard enough time with Polgár's "mate in two"s without a board.

Ya know, right now this is easy with only a few moves, but later it will be a pain. Especially since it's over intervals and such.

Wanna scrap the blindfolded part?

I don't have a board, but I'd write it on paper or somesuch.

I am pretty sure I'm being hustled here. How many times have you played this?

Are you writing the moves down, or are you just looking back at the thread to "see" the board?

By the way, I promised myself an early night tonight, so I'm going to probably say goodnight after the next move.

Cool, I was thinking it'd get boring to have to setup all the pieces in your head with more than a few having been moved.

Okay, one thing before I go to bed. Can we draw a little board on a piece of paper? No putting anything on it, just a blank board to reference? Or is that getting too far away from the spirit of the thing?

Okay, I'm done for tonight, so don't sit up waiting all night for me to make my next move. Smile

I think we should scrap the blindfolded part alltogether. I think it will make this boring. It already takes more time trying to imagine the state of the board than to pick a move, and we are in the beginning.

I didn't think that would work without a short move time to keep the image burned in. Reloading would have become ridiculously tedious.
