There is an X-Files miniseries (all new episodes) starting tonight on Fox, for anyone who is interested.

It's very bizarre to see The X-Files in such clarity - pretty jarring when you watch the new episodes back to back with the old ones.

You should be watching the old ones in high definition though too now.

MyNetworkTV is playing the high-definition remasters of 1990s The X-Files every Thursday.

http://www.mynetworktv.com/shows/x-files

MyNetworkTV should be available on the channels listed below.

I can confirm New York and Boston, because I have WWOR and WSBK as superstations. WWOR shows them from 8PM to 10PM. WSBK shows them from 9PM to 11PM.

Except for St. Louis, every affiliate on this list should broadcast in high definition.

This is a partial list. Smaller markets also have MyNetworkTV affiliates.

@oralloy,
MyNetworkTV is playing the high-definition remasters of 1990s The X-Files every Thursday Tuesday.

My satellite programming guide is showing them on Tuesday this week and next week, both for my local Michigan affiliate, and for the New York and Boston superstations.

And the link to MyNetworkTV that I previously posted says Tuesday now too.

A follow-on miniseries is apparently starting. First episode half over as I post this. I wouldn't have even known, but the recording timer that I had set up for the previous miniseries started recording this one. Looks like it is every Wednesday at 8:00 on Fox.
