This comic strip is as pointed as Doonesbury and often funnier. In today's episode, Al Gore's loss in Florida is the focal point.
I like the boondocks, not as polished as doonesbury, but very good with a different angle.
There is a lot of anger and indignition in Boondocks.
mmmhmmm. There's a website... looks like the old one is down and a new one is coming.

I still can't figure out the relationship between the three boys.
Boondocks is great. He originally used to just poke fun at Hip Hop culture and the disaster that has become BET. His political slant is fairly new, nd for the most part, right on the money.
For those who don't know, the storyline is about two brothers from the inner city who are sent to live with their grandfather in the suberbs, and how they adjust to the change. One brother (Huey) is very political and all about proud Black culture. The other is a wannabe thug/gangster who's too young to really understand what he's doing. There is also a Jamaican kid that just moved into the neighborhood and is more in the "middle ground" of the brothers (he's "urban", but more just about living life, not really focused on politics like Huey).
There is also a neighborhood girl who's mother is white and who's father is black (which provides great dialog between herself and Huey, who is always stressing her to be proud of her black heritage).
In all, a great cartoon. If your familiar with Hip Hop/Rap (such as myself), its all the better.

Saying that "Boondocks" is funnier than "Doonesbury" is setting the bar awfully low. Frankly, I find both to be predictibly and relentlessly unfunny.
Today's episode is right on. (See the last link I posted.)
I love it.
A not-so-subtle message to the masses.
I still have one on my fridge (and on my office building's bulletin board) about Bush talking about how he saved money on his car insurance. Another good one from the same Sunday paper is Stone Soup. When I have more time, I'll look them up and send you the links, maybe you can post them!
I am not familiar with Stone Soup.
For those who didn't notice, by scrolling Boondocks you come to links to all of Yahoo's comics.
It's the top one on this page, Ed. from 3/21/04

That link don't work, suzy.
I don't know why, it just now opened for me...?
Trust me, it was a good cartoon!
I'll see if I can find it elsewhere.
