I'm new, just started a week and a half ago at a fast food joint. Things went fine for the most part until today. A family of four ordered a huge amount of food and got coupon for a portion of it to be free, which needed management override. The manager found out each free item had to be rang up separate, which is a pain in the a$$. After the whole deal, customer paid with gift card and then stated I got one food item wrong.
So we started over and refunded her cash for that one item since register won't refund gift card. That made my drawer short. I then got b*tched at for not reading back customers' orders. The rest of the day, ppl looked at me wrong. Management told me I ain't in trouble, but I could tell everyone hated on me. Am I fvcked? What am I gonna do?

You keep working at these kinds of places, and they get hard for you to deal with.
Do you have any other interests? interests about craft? making stuff?
