@Emilysweet,
Why do you need any reason at all?

It's a silly, immature thing to do.

@chai2,
Probably preparing for a discussion with her kid, the one who got caught in school. Either that, or she got caught and now has to write 100 reasons on the blackboard.

Reasons:

1. Disrespect.
2. Could damage fabric.
3. Could get caught and have to face consequences from teacher, principal and parents.
4. Succumbing to peer pressure instead of thinking for himself.
5. How would he feel if someone were to do the same to him?
6. You could get caught and be made to come up with hundreds of reasons not to do it in order to avoid further discipline.

Good luck, Emily.

@Butrflynet,
If she's preparing for a discussion with her child, I think it's ridiculous she needs "lots of reasons"

She has to negotiate and/or explain ad nauseum why it's a dumb idea?

What ever happened to "Don't do that"?

Frankly, if the kid is that dumb (or manipulative) that she'd need "lots of reasons" the kid needs to be in special ed, or the parent needs to learn who's the adult in the situation.

@Emilysweet,
No, you don't.

You are going to school to learn not play. The teacher's job is to teach - not to be humiliated or made a fool of by students.

Sounds like a discipline assignment.

Number one reason is that you don't touch other people's bodies without permission. Hanging a sign on their back or putting a sticker on someone is rude and a violation of personal space.

This is something that a 5 year old should be taught 9by parents who are paying attention to their child's behavior and not afraid to correct.)

@Emilysweet,
Dont listen to this lot, they are a lot of 'stick-in-the-mud's .

You find my teacher and stick it on his back, I couldnt be stuffed . If however, your convoluted English means you and your teacher and not mine, then I think teachers have failed you in general so why not ?

Stickers to consider:
An upside down placement of a "This End Up" sticker..
A "Contents Under Pressure" sticker near his head...
"Use No Hooks" near his bum...
"Fragile"...
"Explosives"...

You get the idea .

Gees, lighten up ... play is the perfect learning experience . We already have enough problems with teachers bullying students because they are children . Most teachers couldnt work with adults they are too used to pushing others around .
