You also assert there are no gods in the REALITY of existence.

I claim that can only be a guess...which some folk call a "belief."

You claim I am wrong...it is not a guess or a "belief"...it is something you have determined.

You should be wearing the label "guesser" or "believer" just as proudly as you wear the label atheist.

Its easy to understand why there are believers. Almost everyone wants to live forever. Threatening this belief will certainly invite attack.

Not sure who "you guys" refers to...but I am not anti-atheist.

My disagreement with you has to do with you asserting something about the true nature of the REALITY of existence...and pretending it is something other than a guess.

You forcefully assert "There are no gods...no where, no how, never has been, never will be."

Except for the direction of the guess...it is identical to a theist who asserts, "There is a GOD...and all of existence is a result of the force of that GOD."

Both are absurd assertions...little more than guesses gone apeshit. And YOU, Edgar, ARE intelligent enough to see them both as absurd.

That is my disagreement with you...not that you are an atheist.

He is not my favorite artist, but I have loved his music since I was very young. He's pretty great to me.

Layman, did your thread problem get fixed somehow?

Look at the bottom of the page, dark blue stripe, to the right, in the column able2know is a click-on Contact Us.. that'll get you to the hamsters to help figure it out.

No, I don't think so, Jo, and thanks for asking. I have since learned that other posters are having the same problem in that thread. One of them suggested that the mods had "frozen" the thread.

I did "report" a post (one of my own) in that thread (the only thing I could do) and told them the problem. I am assuming that is sufficient to raise the question with them, but so far I've had no response.
