Back in the seventies, Peter Camejo was the presidential candidate of the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party. He got more votes than any of the other presidential candidates the party put up for 24 years, but it still amounted to only 0,1% of the vote.

Then he became a stock exchange millionaire, right? And then he ended up third in the Californian governors race, as the Green candidate.
