It looks like one of the mansions in Heaven to me. I remember reading the artist saying that there are many more beautiful colors in Heaven than here on Earth.

I have not been to Heaven. But it is said that God inspired the artist Akiane to paint it through a dream and that it is of Heaven. I believe this. She is a child prodigy. A modern day artistic genius. I see her as one of God's little artist's.

I'm not a fan of his, nor do I have anything against him. If I find a quote that I think is on point, I don't care who said it. I understand some people don't like him, but I don't know why.

Patches can't even post a picture of outside. Here we go, this is The New Forest, just down the road. (I know, not a lot of trees for a forest, more like a moor.)

It's nice. I like it.

That seems quite a fine place, very much like the North Cascades in Washington State.


And you don't have to die in order to get there.

Just to get totally off topic, that looks like a fairly dense forest in much of the western US. Here's how it goes. Much of our western land is government owned. Outside of facilities, national parks, and military bases, it's pretty much controlled by either Bureau of Land Management or Dept of Agriculture's Forest Service. Anything above a certain elevation is National Forest. Below that, it is BLM land. I think the critical elevation is 7,000'. Got nothing to do with trees. Many National Forests look like a collection of islands in a sea of BLM land.

Large stretches of the New Forest were moor, in the almost one thousand years for which there are records. I suspect it is sadly diminished since the 12th century, but i was glad to see the picture you posted.

It's still quite big, it's got National Park status, but it's probably very tiny by US standards. Biggest concern are animal deaths, speed limit is 40mph, but many don't follow it.
