It will take me a while to get back to this one as it's complicated to deal with on a cell phone.

the soul does survive after death.
But this one is easy:
Psalm 146:3,4
Quote:
Do not put your trust in princes nor in a son of man who can not bring salvation. 4 His spiirit goes out. He returns to the ground. On that very day his thoughts perish.
Eelesiastes 9:5,6
Quote:
The living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they no longer have any share in anything that is done under the sun
If your mind brings up thoughts of a resurrection, remember it is gift, not a guarantee.

BTW, I remember now how Smiley explained how the Greek language assigns gender to some nouns, just as we might refer to a boat as 'she'. Was his explanation offensive to you? Did it suggest you might have to abandon your fantasy?

@neologist,
If you want a reply you will have to wait until I get home in one week. You clearly misinterpret scripture. I'll have to get back with you.

@Patches,
I think Christian Rock is more of an argument for the non existence of God than anything else.

@Patches,
Has the holy spirit helped you to identify Babylon the Great, so you may escape from it?

The photographs prove nothing. They can be replicated easily. Your brain apparently doesn't do basic logic. I feel sorry for you and other victims of this nonsense.

I know Quetzalcoatl exists. I can produce blurry photos of blobs of light to prove it. Proof-wise, the score is 1:1. Now what?

You can not prove that God does not exist. And if you believe you can...you are merely a foolish big-head.

Idea It is a foolish big-head who believes that they are something and their Creator is nothing.

Behold, all ye condemned unbelievers and infidels! Proof of Quetzalcoatl has been captured on film! Bow down before his glory and majesty!

Shifting the burden of proof is a logical fallacy. You're making the claim, you provide genuine evidence. I have provided proof of Quezalcoatl that is equivalent to your proof of your god. Prove Quezalcoatl doesn't exist.

@neologist,
I was reading over your profile. You are a Jehovah Witness? I am a Roman Catholic. This may have something with why we interpret scripture a little differently.

You have made the claim that God doesn't exist. And you absolutely cannot prove it. Yet I have provided a photograph of the Spirit of God.

@FBM,
This thread is not about Quetzalcoatl.
Are you a Buddhist who doesn't believe in God?
Did you once believe the man Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha) that you are a spirit and had past lives?
Were you once a Buddhist monk?
I'm just trying to get to know the person that I am conversing with.
