@TheCobbler,
Now that's interesting. Because if you think about it, that's how Darwinian evolutionists think it works.

What am I (or you?) missing?

"Formed from the dust of the ground" and "let the earth bring forth" = evolution.

The Bible could have used the word "created"...

Created from the dust of the ground or even "created from pure nothingness".

But instead the Bible say FORMED from the dust of the ground.

To form something implies there are many forms before the final form is finished.

The religious and learning institutions make too much money to allow the "debate" to be solved.

It is much more profitable having religion and evolution at loggerheads than to realize they are both (at least in this case) saying the same thing.

The shame is, most adamant religious people do not even read the Bible, they simply assume it promotes a pure brand of extreme creationism.

@TheCobbler,
Exactly so.

The conflict over the Genesis story is such bullshit. Without all the hairsplitting over 'days' and stuff, the book parallels cosmology and biology pretty close. And it told the story before they did.

@Leadfoot,
That is because evolution is so obvious it takes a blind hearted fool to deny it.

So Darwin has come up with an idea that humans were defecated out of a rhino's ass and that educated students of Darwin so believe???
Gee, I thought Ive read all six editions of ,The Origin of Species...(Including Morris Peckhams Variorum)but I think I missed that significant part. Actually, outside of that picture that Cobbler posted, youre the first one Ive heard even mention that mechanism and actually believes that people think that way.

@farmerman,
Terrible thing to discuss something as serious as evolution based on a meme like that, but what the ****, let's do it.

The man appears to be birthing somewhat south of the rhino's ass, but not being an expert on rhinos I could be wrong.

But assuming it to be from the usual birthing orifice, the randomly genetically altered offspring of animals is the heart and soul of evolution, The meme depiction of it merely skips a few steps and a few million years or so.

Did I get that right Farmer?

And is this another case of you seeing what you expected to see instead of what's there?

@Leadfoot,
Evolution is about very subtle changes happening over millions of years and how these are adapted to survival, not, presto wham bam and there is a human instantly created from dust or in this case, from a rhino's ass.

The meme is laughably showing that evolution was not sudden like creation...

When creationists think this world was created "all of a sudden" this meme indicates how stupid that concept is and how creationists are rendered incapable of understanding gradual changes over millions of years.

@TheCobbler,
They invented creationism when they didn't have any idea about their own planet; most lived within a few miles of their homes, and very few ventured out to other countries - no less other continents.
That's why the story of Noah is so laughable. His small boat couldn't have collected all the animals (including dinosaurs) and living things in pairs - plus all the feed and water he would need.

It's funny and revealing when somebody 'corrects' you by restating what you just said..

I think you and farmer must have the same problem.
