Noost is an anagram of Soton which is an abbreviation of Southampton.

Right, well. If you haven't posted now... The anagram NOOST was SOTON. It was a shortening of Southampton, mostly used in football results on Final Score on Grandstand. That was the team and I absolutely don't want to tell anyone an answer, the clue makes it accessible to more people. I don't enter this to win, I don't do it to impress my friends. I enter to support it, and spend a few pounds monthly to have fun. If I think someone asking for help is justified I'll offer a little nudge. Nobody gets the answer.

Thanks for explanation of NOOST - good job I found the answer (hopefully) by other means as that clue was obviously totally lost on me.
