I'm currently in court for neglect for my son and am doing very well with services and have never lost custody of him. However I am 3 months pregnant and even though trial will more than likely be done long before the birth, I know I will still have DSS on my back for a while. Now I am not completely positive of this babys father and I know that isn't a good thing but I am prepared to deal with parenting alone . I already am not to have my sons father around him due to domestic disputes (hence the reason for the case my sons involved in). My question is even if the court is over with but I still having visits from DSS, will they include my unborn such as forcing paternity tests, attempting to take the baby etc. and if I am convicted of neglect , will they take the baby ?
@Lmorales24,
This is a very good question.
