Trump pardons Scooter Libby, says he was 'treated unfairly'
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-pardons-scooter-libby-says-he-was-treated-unfairly/ar-AAvQ9LI

An innocent man doesn't need a presidential pardon does he?

LOL Republicans are so stupid. A "pardon" is a clear admission of guilt...

Trump also pardons Cheney and Bush for the deaths of hundreds of thousand of innocent Iraqi civilians too.

A true example of a "law and order" President. (cynical)

Pardon war criminals and their crooked lawyers. Maybe Europe will excuse their atrocities now. (not likely at all)

It only makes Trump complicit in their crimes also.

How does Marc Rich live with himself? And hasn't someone's guilt depended on being found guilty?

He does if monsters like you have lynched him and he was convicted of untrue charges because of it.

How do you live with yourself being such a horrible person?

Nonsense.

Really??? That's not a crime.

If you're serious, do you have a link?

@coldjoint,
Isn't a pardon dependent on someone being guilty? Do you pardon innocent people or just declare their innocence (and provide proof)? You do know what proof is right? Pardons are used to pardon convictions where one was found "guilty" by a jury of their peers...

Crooked Trump can pardon these people but the world does not have to.

To pardon racist sheriffs and pedophiles tells us exactly who your Trump is.

And you rush to his defense CJ like you are just like Trump and his nasty buddies.

Do you deserve any degree of being taken seriously or to be seen as credible? Nope.

That is what I said. The rest of your post is your childish anger issues, none based on fact, working themselves out. You must feel better now.

Richard Nixon was never even charged with a crime much less convicted of one, and he received a highly-justified pardon just to end the Democratic witch hunt against him.

And the evidence is quite clear that Scooter Libby has committed no crime.

Liberals are monsters who like to convict innocent people of imaginary crimes.

Poor Trump and his conservative pals on A2K, no one understands the troubles they endure in trying to normalize rapists, pedophiles and corporate crooks.

They are surely martyrs like Jesus who overthrew the tables of the money lenders and called them a "den of thieves". (cynical)

Well, maybe not exactly like Jesus, Jesus was said to be without sin...

On the contrary, den of thieves aptly describes this GOP rabble.

Stealing the life and breath from school children so they can worship their phallic gun god.

@oralloy,
Nixon received a deal, leave office and he would not face charges. If there was no evidence who would accept such a deal? Only a guilty person.

And being pardoned by his vice President is surely a sign and evidence of his innocence. lol

"And the evidence is quite clear that Scooter Libby has committed no crime."

So why a pardon, why not just debunk the evidence that "convicted" him?

Even liberal monsters need evidence to convict someone.

The conservative degenerates tried to smear Hillary and lacked one vital thing... evidence.

That was after paying Russia to hack her emails and still no smoking gun.

Your logic is warped and you are backing convicted criminals.

Paul Ryan sold shares on same day as private briefing of banking crisis
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2012/aug/13/paul-ryan-sold-shares-banking-crisis

Insider trading anyone? Using political office for gain? The evidence is in plain sight. Maybe that is why he will be stepping down next term... (just like Nixon). Which republican crook will pardon Paul Ryan?

That is because she destroyed all the evidence. What a stupid thing to use for an example. Carry on. Laughing

No he didn't.

A pardon clears the unjust convictions off from his record.

No you don't. You don't care about evidence. You just like savaging innocent people.

Nothing warped about me defending innocent people.

This is just an example of those morals and ethics that I have so much of.

@oralloy,
The Pardon
Nixon, Ford, Haig, and the transfer of power. (Hersh's book The Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House was published in 1983).
https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/1983/08/the-pardon/305571/

At eleven o’clock on Sunday morning, September 8, 1974, one month after taking office, President Gerald R. Ford announced that he had granted Richard M. Nixon a full pardon for any offenses against the United States he might have committed while serving as the thirty-seventh President. With that act, Ford made a political blunder that would haunt his presidency and submerge his campaign two years later. The pardon immediately raised speculation that he and Nixon, working through Alexander M. Haig, Jr., the Army general who served as chief of staff to both, had struck a deal for the presidency.

Many of the aides who worked closely with Haig and Ford still assume that there was a deal of some kind. Whether there was may never be known, because the men involved have yet to give a full account.

Comment:

Once again, an innocent man would not have left the office.

Hillary did not seclude herself into private life after her testimony no, she ran for President. Her conscience was clear and no secret deal or need for a pardon held her back.

It takes quite a monster to use the fact that you succeeded in harming innocent people to justify false accusations against those innocent people.

Liberals really do have no place in a civilized society.

Actually they are not liberals. We insult real liberals, who are very reasonable people. I try to use progressive, not that what they advocate bears any resemblance to progress.

Look at what else the IG's report will cover. There will not be anyone left that considers Comey or Mc Cabe credible.

Quote:
Each of these aspects is an investigation unto itself, and will likely result in a stand-alone report:

åUnlawful and coordinated media leaks РPart I (McCabe);

åFalse statements to investigators about unauthorized media leaks РPart I;

•Clinton email, manipulated investigations with predetermined outcomes;

•False testimony to FBI, congress and under oath to IG (Comey/McCabe);

•Manipulated FBI 302 reports, and/or false presentation of documents;

•Willful political corruption by Asst. Director Andrew McCabe; Director Comey etc.

•Unlawful use of FBI and NSD databases;

•Political issues within Main Justice DOJ-NSD (Carlin, McCord, Ohr, Yates);

•Issues with the FISA court; •false presentations; •source material (Steele Dossier);

•State Department involvement. •unmasking. •origination of counterintelligence op.

Now we will hear in Trump's own voice how he paid off his pornstar to hide his adultery and how he urged his lawyer to collude even further with Russia while attempting to hush up the real "pee pee tape".

And the fat lady on the couch who hacked into the DNC was actually Russia paid for by Trump.

The republicans are going to learn the true meaning of the word "evidence".

How dare the justice department find proof of Trump's lies and the GOP's corruption! (cynical) LOL!

While some Trump voters will cry, We don't care if he is a traitor, we are traitors too! Whaaaah!
