@Baldimo,
Good to see that y'all have embraced what you used to rail against.

To pretend there's any equivalence to a bill that took 10 months to create and pass, and that had dozens of hearings in both houses of Congress, and the current tax bill; that's a ******* joke and you know it.

I don't know who this "y'all" is you are referring. I was only pointing out that people have voted on something not knowing what they were voting on.

@Baldimo,
1) 99.5% of the healthcare bill was known before voting on it, as it went through committee after committee after committee and republicans and democrats both offered amendments that were voted on repeatedly....for the better part of a whole year.

2) that line has been used against Pelosi and democrats for almost 7 years now, I'd wager even by you. If nothing else I'm glad that your guys showed that they were just trying to score political points and really had no objection to the process

@maporsche,
One tiny change can have rippling effects across the board... Time is needed to understand the repercussions. Whole pages were crossed out and things scribbled in the margins. These "things" were billions of dollars flying through the ether. AND... do we really want to give Trump and the republicans a trillion dollar loan from China? Do we need it? Really? Do you think Mr. golf man who eats 500 dollar pieces of chocolate cake and shits on a gold toilet seat understands financial responsibility? Can Mr Trump University and the Koch Brothers be trusted with a TRILLLION DOLLARS of our FUTURE!!!??? The answer is... no.

@TheCobbler,
There is no scandal here, this entire article is made up of what if's and nothing else. You want to talk about sex victims? It seems there have been more reports of Dems getting busted than GOP members. Should be interesting to see who was dipping into the hush money fund. So far one long time Dem is "retiring", Conyers, and the big money donors to the DNC in Hollywood are the ones getting in trouble the most. Matt "Fing" Lauer was fired and had a creepy lock button under his desk.

1 trillion is missing? Links?

Putin and the GOP? Still waiting on that info.

Putin bought castles all over the world in the last year? I wonder how many of those were bought in the last 9 years... You know, had to wait till Obama was re-elected “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term."
Who was slated to be the head of Russia in the Spring? Putin. Who was President when the US sold Uranium to Russia? Obama. Who benefited? Obama and Putin. Tell me again how much money Bill Clinton made from speeches in Russia?

Good grief. The entire Democratic Party really has no idea what the Constitution and law really say do they?

When the Republicans point out that it is not obstruction when a president decides to exercise his lawful constitutional powers, they are not saying that presidents can never commit obstruction. Of course presidents can commit obstruction.

Bill Clinton committed obstruction when he ordered Betty Curry to go hide the gifts that he had given to Lewinsky so that the Starr investigation would not find them.

But that does not mean obstruction is being committed when the President decides that an investigation should not be pursued, and it does not mean obstruction is being committed when the President fires an underling whose performance he is unhappy with.

But since the Democrats said it was OK for Bill Clinton to commit obstruction, that does mean that it is now also OK for Republicans to do it. It's just a fact that the Republicans aren't doing it.

The fact that I took the time to explain this does not mean that I am inclined to further address the ongoing nationwide anti-Trump tantrums.

@oralloy,
When your president fires an FBI director who is investigating said president's collusion with a foreign power in order to swing an election in his favor that is the text book case of obstruction of justice...

Oh, we democrats know quite well what obstruction of justice means...
