@ehBeth,
1) I expect a large, unprecedented voter turnout in all subsequent elections until our country is rid of the GOP.

2) I think a lot of independents voted for Trump thinking maybe something would get done. They thought Trump would mellow once in office... au contraire! Now, they know they need to go the other way and put democrats in power to get things done. They do not care if it is a border wall or Russia, dangling carrot, just that their lives improve. They now know Trump is lamer than Obama was.

3) Trump has clearly demonstrated that he is out of touch with the middle class... I call this one the cooky Katelyn Jenner syndrome... What! You really don't like LGBT people? Even if I say I am a republican? lol Has Katelyn finally seen the light at the end of the dellusion?

4) Taxes raised on the middle class and healthcare becoming out of reach. This also puts a damper on the plans of the republicans.

5) Abuse me, because I like it... gets tiresome after a while... Even golden showers from hookers get old, (so I'm told).

6) The Christian right is about to "wake up" (arise, them that sleepest) to the act of them being dragged through the sewer (not swamp). Those non-fake Christians are about to forcibly wrest the Christian right from the immoral GOP while declaring shame upon these charlatans...

7) A snake may slither through the grass and president a clear danger until its head is severed and stuck on a pike (remember Hitler?). This will serve as a deterrent to others who might follow the same path, as history in this matter, is surely to repeat itself. Trump will leave a bad taste in the mouths of his voters for many years to come.

8) Millennials have not learned this racist hate and will not stand for a sick old "generation of vipers" to abscond with their bright future of utopia.

9) Trump cannot manage the economy and will bankrupt it like he has done with his corrupt brand.

10) Mueller is gonna kick Trump's cheating ass!

11) They would rather pee next to a tranny than a misogynistic pedophile pussy grabber.

12) Any bastion Trump has with silicon valley is gone with the threats of new net neutrality laws which they, enmasse, abhor. When the southern states have to pay per movie for Netflix to stream, (and their porn) maybe they will reconsider their choice too. They would rather live next to a black person than pay more for porn...

13) Each day we can see Trump alienating more sectors of his base. Why? Well, because fake news is, uuhhh, FAKE! An illusion perpetrated by a fake president.

14) Trump's rape accusers and their voices will gain traction and legitimacy seeing he openly endorses pedophiles for public office.

15) Scientists and rational thinkers hate the man.

Oh, the list goes on..

I predict Trump's base will hate him so much that they will soon prefer Michelle Obama for president over him.

As for the low-life racists who voted for Trump... the GOP will not have fake news to lie to their voters to convince them to vote for them, the social networks are wise to them now.

We are just a cog in the wheel and we have no say in our future? Au contraire, we are masters of our destiny and our destiny is unity and peace among the varied cultures and nations of our unique and fascinating world.

This is the future of progress.

Maybe.
I, and I'm sure millions of others dearly hope that positive outcomes like what you describe are what the future holds.
But there's an alternate future that's also a possibility.

It may be that politicians like Trump and Roy Moore are just the beginning of a further slide into unaccountable governance. It may be that grimy little racist wanna be leaders have taken notice of how Trump was able to succeed by turning racist dog-whistles into bullhorns; by rising to power with repeated red-meat appeals to the lowest parts of human nature.

It may be that gerrymandering and voter suppression might continue the trend that has Democrats accumulating more votes, but Republicans winning more elections.

So... hope you're right.

@TheCobbler,
Trump’s approval rating now sits at 38%, and disapproval at 55%. Trump can’t keep any of his promises except his bigotry. At least we can learn how many bigots live in our country.

1. Trump, who got the kids out of a Chinese prison, only said that he shouldn't have bothered. He didn't say that he consider 10 years in prison a fit sentence for shoplifting.
2. What is alleged against Moore by the former 14 year old is statutory rape, not forcible rape, which is what you make it sound like. Both are bad, but they are not the same.
3. Regarding the Moore incident, whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty?" I thought that was the American way. Is there any evidence that this crime occurred?

@Brandon9000,
How can one pursue happiness and a wholesome family life with a pedophile in the White House?

Perhaps you should use your own brain to figure out this stuff?

@Brandon9000,
Yes the "evidence" is supplied by the very police officer who was tasked with job of keeping Moore out of the public mall...

You post your degenerate drivel again on my thread and you will be put on my ignore list.

If you want to defend a pedophile do it in your own stupid threads.

@TheCobbler,
Not only a pedophile. His bigotry takes first place. His sexual attraction to his own daughter is abnormal and disgusting, but many women admire him. I’m not sure whether the voters are screwed up or it’s Trump.

Or it proves the haters hate religion so much to hijack it and drag it thought the gutter. An innocent man crucified? They crucify him afresh...

The Poor Are Being Barred From Voting. And That’s Unconstitutional
Hundreds of thousands of Americans are being denied the right to vote because they are poor.
In nine states, Republican legislators have enacted laws that disenfranchise anyone with outstanding legal fees or court fines.
For example, in Alabama more than 100,000 people who owe money, roughly 3 percent of the state’s voting-age population, have been struck from voting rolls.
This is unconstitutional.
In 1964, the 24th amendment abolished the poll tax, a Jim Crow tactic used to bar poor blacks from voting.
These new laws are a modern reincarnation of that unconstitutional system, disproportionately disenfranchising people of color.
Income and wealth should have no bearing on the right to vote.
Many Americans are struggling to make ends meet.
But they still have a constitutional right to make their voices heard.
Preventing people from voting because they owe legal fees or court fines muzzle low-income Americans at a time in our nation’s history when the rich have more political power than ever.
These state laws are another form of voter suppression, like gerrymandering, voter ID requirements, and bars on anyone with felony convictions from voting.
We must not let them stand.

Comment:
The GOP think silencing people will allow them to win. You are not a winner if you have to cheat to win. YOU ARE A LOSER! Law and order will soon catch up with your crooked ass and put you away where you belong!

New York Times is reporting that "Shoplifting is considered a relatively minor crime in China, and foreigners convicted of minor crimes are often deported rather than given prison sentences." #TrumpLies

That’s just not true.
