@izzythepush,
Right Izzy! For the first time and, no doubt, the last time, I visited Huckabee's page. He was absolutely ripped to shreds by former supporters, for defending Josh Duggar. So many of them said that Huckabee lost their votes! He should really be ashamed of himself for defending that piece of ****, and I can't help but wonder how freely the forgiveness would be flowing, had it been Huckabee's daughter who had been molested! His presidential ambition is now DEAD!

Mike Huckabee’s Facebook fans tear him to shreds for defending Josh Duggar

Quote:
Yesterday, GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee posted a lengthy Facebook status affirming his “support for the Duggar family,” saying that Josh Duggar – who confessed to molestation – is being attacked by “blood-thirsty media” and deserves “our support.”
This set off a surprising reaction among Huckabee’s Facebook fans, with a chorus of his once-supportive Republican loyalists declaring that he had lost their vote over his words on the matter. Here are a few examples:

@jcboy,
It's amazing how supposedly 'conscience driven' people find it so easy to turn a blind eye to some of the worst abuses imaginable.

Founder of Josh Duggar’s ‘treatment center’ left after ‘sexually grooming’ teens and young women
Source: Raw Story

The founder of a chain of Christian “treatment” centers Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sent their eldest son to for molesting five girls — including his sisters — resigned in 2014 under a cloud of accusations that he had “sexually groomed” and harassed young women and teens in his ministry.

Bill Gothard, a Christian writer and minister, founded the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) in 1961, as a way to help families resolve issues by using Biblical principles. Among the services offered at IBLP are ministry seminars, community outreach, counseling for troubled Christians, and mentoring Christian youth.

Gothard himself left under a cloud in 2014, amid accusations that he had sexually harassed multiple women and failed to report allegations of child abuse at IBPL.

Gothard was later cleared of the accusations, with a report only saying he acted “inappropriately,” however the 80-year-old chose to leave the ministry he founded.

@TheCobbler,
If that's the case, lets only apply the cuts to those who are not vets. Those who haven't served or done anything for their country in any way should be the last in line and the first to be cut. Way to many healthy people who can work are not working. They need a kick in the ass to stop sucking off the govt teat.

Could it be because those patriotic big business people are sending all the good paying jobs overseas? O, forgive me. I lost my mind there for a second. We all know big business would never put money ahead of country. Nor would congress. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

@RABEL222,
So instead of a "good paying job" as you call it, they would rather suck on the govt teat? There are plenty of jobs available and there are plenty of good paying jobs.

How do you respond to the charge that people don't have the skills required to work some of those jobs? I work for a storage start-up, and as a tier III tech I'm also responsible in helping in the interview process. We have been interviewing people for job openings at the tier II level, over the last few months. You would be surprised by the number of people who think they are qualified to do my job. They think that being able to type, use the internet and fix grandma's computer qualifies them to work in the IT industry. You ask them about configuring VMware and they don't even know what VMware is...

Better paying jobs are a good thing, but if you don't have the skills or experience to get those jobs then you can't blame the company. At some point people have to take responsibility for their own lives and stop looking to govt to solve their ills.

@Baldimo,
Baldy you are so full of it that it isent funny. In the area in which I live the only jobs are $7 an hr farming, waitress, and counter jobs that require someone to either work 80 hrs or try to find 2 jobs or get the wife a couple of jobs. I personally know of dozens of families in my area of 400 population that have to do this to support their family. You are just another of the lying pricks who infest this site.

Ain't that a corker? Let alone the fact for every tax dollar they send to Washington, they get a buck and a quarter back.

@RABEL222,
So because you live in a town that has nothing to offer it's citizens, I'm a liar? 400 people compared to the Denver metro area? You really are a fool aren't you. What do farmers and the such have to do with the IT field and under qualified people thinking they deserve good money for no skills?

@bobsal u1553115,
Says the man who can't even admit to being a Democrat. You can't even admit that you were blocked from the site for a week, or that Rex is really the Cobbler.

Your's the credibility that is in question. Both you and Rabbel claim I'm a liar and yet neither can provide proof.
