@bobsal u1553115,
Pence, the perfect definition of psychophant. He has given up his own ethics to be partnered with Trump. His christian values just went out the window in supporting a racial bigot, a womanizer who insults women, and a scammer who cheats people to gain money.
And pundits say he won the debate; and his lies meant nothing.
Excuse me?

@revelette2,
Kaine's job was to get to back every dingle tRump opinion. He did a great job of it. Pence was Donny JR at the "debate" and Kaine yurned it into debacle - “You Whipped Out That Mexican Thing Again”

Sure they do. I just wasn't sure psychophant was really a word.

"Trump then "kissed, fondled, and restrained" her during a visit to his daughter Ivanka's bedroom"

The Trump Files: Donald's Creepy Poolside Parties in Florida
"Trump insisted on at least a three-to-two ratio of women to men at his bashes."

Max J. RosenthalSep. 27, 2016 6:00 AM

In 1993, Trump hosted the finals of the American Dream Calendar Girls pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and a spot in the calendar meant modeling gigs and visibility. "None of the women competing wanted to miss a chance to impress a judge like Trump," wrote the Tampa Bay Times in a profile of Trump.

Trump apparently saw it differently. "What it was was a way to get his friends together and bring a bunch of pretty girls with them," said George Houraney, who owned the pageant with his then-wife, Jill Harth. Harth said Trump groped her during a Mar-a-Lago party in 1993, and then "kissed, fondled, and restrained" her during a visit to his daughter Ivanka's bedroom, according to the Globe. Harth sued Trump but dropped the lawsuit in 1997. She told the Post that dropping the suit was a condition of settling a separate breach-of-contract suit Houraney and Harth filed against Trump. Trump strenuously denied Harth's story.

The suit also mentioned other alleged sexual advances by Trump. The Globe described one encounter with a pageant hopeful:

In the predawn hours, a contestant named Lauren Petrella—who, at age 22, was 24 years younger than the 46-year-old Trump—allegedly found Trump, unannounced and uninvited, in her bed. "You said you don't sleep with men on the first date," he told her, according to the lawsuit filed by Harth. "Now it's the second date, and here I am."

Among all the media fallout over the revelation of Donald Trump's obscene comments about women in a 2005 videotape, two things stand out.

Did he really apologise? And has his campaign terminally imploded?

There have been many turning points in many campaigns in the long history of American politics, and for many US commentators, Donald Trump may have finally dropped off the edge of the cliff.

Glenn Thrush and Katie Glueck, writing for Politico, said it was "fitting that the election of Hillary Clinton as the first female president might have been sealed by Donald Trump's treatment of women as subordinate, interchangeable, pliable playthings.
"Trump - a compulsively public politician who has mouthed some of the most hilarious (intentionally or otherwise), offensive, fact-allergic and misogynistic statements by anyone competing in the public arena - might be ultimately undone by a private admission about a woman he wanted to have sex with."

Avik Roy in Forbes, cites a number of the faux pas that have dogged Mr Trump over the past few weeks.

He says: "None of this was enough to prevent nearly all leading GOP [Republican] lawmakers from endorsing Trump as their nominee. But the latest tape just might. Why?

"Because few Republican lawmakers have Muslim relatives. Few Republican lawmakers are of Mexican heritage. Few Republican lawmakers have faced discrimination based on the colour of their skin. But all of them have white female relatives. And therefore, when Trump talks about grabbing white women by the genitals, they can directly relate."

Trump is a mega hit with non college educated white men, over 70%. He was above 50% with non college educated white women. Everyone else was for Hillary, although not all groups by the super high percentage of noncollege men were for Trump.

Hillary's campaign for some weeks was to pry away the noncollege white women away from Trump so that he goes under 50% with them. This video is going to go beautifully with that strategy.

Meanwhile, as of last night the Republicans were meeting in Washington to decide what to do in case Trump "voluntarily" decides to step down. They know that they can't win even if Trump is removed from the ticket, but at this point they have to be thinking that there is no bottom limit as to how far they can go down with Trump still running. Seriously, is it too much to imagine, at this rate, that Trump only ends up with 30% of the votes cast? You can't discount the possibility.

REBELLION: RNC staffers 'defying orders' to keep working for Trump, source says
Source: Business Insider

Some staffers inside the Republican National Committee are rebelling and “defying orders” to continue working for Donald Trump, according to a source familiar with the situation.

"They’re dropping their duties to the campaign," the source told Business Insider. "Turning their attention to Senate/House."

The source added: "Folks at the RNC are disgusted."

A spokesperson for the RNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

@bobsal u1553115,
Trump is the best thing that happened to the RNC and the party. He's making people decide whether they have any ethical values or not over party politics.
