More attempts to justify injustices?

Shame!

I wonder what you would call it when someone is accused of different things over 30 years and no evidence is ever found to support most of it.

I'd call it a standard Liberal witch hunt against people who don't adhere to their bankrupt ideology.

@Blickers,

The picture is obviously a splice of two pics. One is a pic, (or possible a still from a video), of the woman standing peaceably holding a sign which said "Love". The other is clearly a second pic/still of what happened when the police decided to arrest her for doing this.

How do we know that this is what she was being arrested for?

It may well be the reason. Maybe she was holding the sign where she was not entitled to hold it. But I've seen no evidence for anything other than her being arrested.

For all I know she could have been arrested for clubbing a police officer over the head with a rock.

I haven't actually researched the Alton Sterling incident that much, police were killed and citizens were killed, not sure what actually happened, but regardless it is hard to see how the actions of the police as regards to this young woman can be justified.

One way it could be justified is if she resisted arrest and there was a scuffle.

none of these actions by the cops are justified.

Cops are allowed to fire on people who are in the process of murdering them.

So, for that matter, are ordinary citizens (like George Zimmerman).

This BLM gibberish about black people being free to kill whites and cops is just that, gibberish.

France Just Raided 200 Mosques… What They Found Inside Proves TRUMP Right

The Turnip is wrong! Where do the terrorists get UNREGULATED guns? The Republican's NRA!

Then who pays to disarm them? Police and military with their lives and taxpayers! Whose hateful rhetoric goads average Muslims through fear into arming themselves?

The Turnip...

That's certainly an appropriate way to arrest somebody holding a sign that says "Love" where they shouldn't. What's the choke hold for, so she can't yell out "Peace" which would add to her transgressions? As for clubbing the cop over the head with a rock, the thin, willowy young lady appears unable to deliver the force to do any damage.

Seriously, does she look like anyone who can scuffle much?

@Blickers,
I think this is what they call "love bashing".

She may have got smart and verbally resisted, maybe she did throw stones.

It is a powerful set of images and it would be nice to assume she probably deserved it.

But with the way cops have been constantly caught abusing their authority this could easily be the brutal crime it appears to be.

Or, Laura Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie's twin turns Linda Blair in The Exorcist!

More evidence that the Left hates civil rights and wants to overthrow our Constitution.

A vote for Trump is a vote to preserve civil rights.

Cleveland Police Ask For Emergency Suspension Of Open Carry Laws During Republican Convention

Source: Think Progress

Ohio is an “open carry” state which allows gun owners to carry them in plain sight. People have been exercising this right around the site of the Republican convention:

Strangely, in the area around the convention, “tennis balls, metal-tipped umbrellas or canned goods” are prohibited. But AR-15s or other firearms are not. But now, the Cleveland Police Union has made an emergency request to suspend open carry for the duration of the Republican convention.

“We are sending a letter to Gov. Kasich requesting assistance from him. He could very easily do some kind of executive order or something — I don’t care if it’s constitutional or not at this point,” Cleveland Police Union president Stephen Loomis told CNN.
The request may be related to the violence in Baton Rogue, where three police officers were killed today. (Loomis also blamed Obama for those shootings, saying he had “blood on his hands.”)

The request will put Governor Kasich in an awkward position. In general Republicans argue that open-carry laws are an important party of the right to bear arms and improve public safety. The research does not support this argument.

@bobsal u1553115,
The funny part about that is that police unions are usually the only ones who vote Republican. The fact that the Cleveland police union head blamed Obama for what happened in Baton Rouge is illustrative of that. And even that Right Wing loony police union chief has to come down to Earth enough to request that guns not be allowed near a convention where a great number of the country's leaders are about to assemble.
