- background checks are inadequate due to many concerning event not appearing on them (i.e. mental health, addiction, domestic abuse)
- guns sold by private parties to each other (aka the gun show loophole) are not subject to even the inadequate background checks
- people on watch lists are allowed to buy guns

Those are just the flaws off the top of my head.

I have never implied any such thing, I'm concerned over what you consider regulation since it seems that regulation to you guys means a ban.

Are you really so dumb as to continue to misapply that phrase? Regulated militia refers to training of the militia. Plus you always seem to leave out this part of the Amendment...



You anti-gunners seem to think this is the only Amendment that doesn't apply to the people, when the rest of the Amendments apply to the people.

Thats because when they read the second amendment all they see is, I have the right to own a gun. They are blind to the rest of it.

As far as gun shows go, it is necessary to allow people to buy guns without background checks because of the way the Obama Administration is criminally abusing the background check system (as described above).

Private sales that do not involve gun shows are intentionally outside the background check system, because including them in the background check system would enable any American to carry out background checks on unlimited numbers of other Americans -- a massive invasion of privacy.



No flaw there. Being on such a list does not justify depriving anyone of their rights.
