Let's not forget how this disproportionately affects women. When we get married,
80% of all women change their last names to take on their husband's. And 5% hyphenate our last names (hey, that's me). The SAVE Act would make both of these situations invalidate the only proof they'll accept.
At the same time, 'macho' MAGA influencers (think Andrew Tate and other weasels like him) are pushing women to marry and, you guessed it, take on hubby's last name. Because white babies.
A number of them (and there are female MAGA influencers who are pushing this other nonsense as well) are also pushing the idea of one vote per household and guess who would get to control that vote? Three guesses and the first two don't count.
