There is a probability that Jack did not act alone in his effort to undermine the security of the United States and Ukraine.
Jack is a part of a homegrown terrorist "cell". A networks of racists and anti-American proponents of violence and misdeeds.
Who are the other perpetrators involved in this cell?
Well, it would be people who encouraged, educated and incited this young mind to act in such a traitorous way.
People like, Tucker Carlson, the NRA, and Trump and his racist party of traitors.
And what of Jack's parents? Did they groom him to become the monster that he turned out to be? Did they just sit back while Jack was indoctrinated by right-wing anti-US lies? Or, did his parents participate in his radicalization?
Who were Jack's co-conspirators and what of Discord's allowing this terrorist cell to fester and grow on their social platform?
And what of the other members who participated in this "discord" online cabal of US hate?
It would seem that Discord is living up to its name... This cell should not be left intact to corrupt another and another.
Jack had terrorist training and the republican party should be held responsible for those whom their propaganda infect and radicalize, many republicans are implicated in the same crime.
Proponents of such radicalization should be held accountable for the severe damage their hate causes.
Not only is the first amendment going unregulated but also the second amendment. Speech is not free when it radicalizes citizens into treasonous acts.
Hate speech and racist memes are "not" free speech. Such memes are speech that binds rather than frees, and speech that corrupts the very tenants of our liberties and shames our diverse body of citizenry. White supremacy is a crime, not free speech.
Not unlike states who attack transgender individuals with legislative bills meant to intimidate and subvert liberty and freedom of expression, human pride and dignity.
Hate speech should have a cost and not go unregulated.
