The blue wave is just beginning...

Trump will be remembered as the very, "one term president" that Mitch McConnell spoke about.

Maybe if Trump had been a black man he might have gotten a second term.. lol

U.S. teenager charged in Wisconsin protest shootings due in court

Quote:
Reuters) - Kyle Rittenhouse, a U.S. teenager accused of fatally shooting two protesters and wounding a third during protests in Wisconsin over the summer, is due in court on Thursday, where his lawyer will argue for dismissal of two of the six charges against him.

The shootings occurred in August in Kenosha, Wisconsin amid civil unrest sparked by the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man. Rittenhouse's lawyers have said he was helping protect property and that he acted in self defense.

The 17-year-old was extradited in late October from his home state of Illinois to Kenosha to face the charges. Rittenhouse, who has become a cause celebre of sorts for the political right, posted $2 million bail after a public fundraising campaign.

The hearing on Thursday, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CST (1630 GMT) in front of a Kenosha County judge, is aimed at deciding whether the evidence is sufficient for the case to go to trial.

Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree reckless homicide and five other criminal counts related to the shootings, in which Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber were killed and Gaige Grosskreutz was wounded. The charges also include one count for illegal possession of a weapon and a count for allegedly endangering the safety of journalist Richard McGinnis.

Mark Richards, a lawyer for Rittenhouse, filed a motion this week seeking to have the weapons charge and the count related to McGinnis tossed, arguing that a "reasonable person" could not conclude those crimes were committed.

Richards declined an interview request ahead of the hearing. The Kenosha County district attorney's office did not respond to a request for comment.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/11/30/1999097/-Another-Day-1-job-for-Biden-Cut-off-Trump-s-intelligence-briefings

How about giving Trump "fake" briefings?

"Oh, I hear of a good stock to invest in Donald", The next day, Russians are investing like crazy... lol

This has the potential to backfire on Trump. lol

All of that republican effort selling out American interests to foreign enemies... down the drain on day one of Biden's presidency.

Barr Begs Trump Not to Let One Isolated Incident of Honesty Wipe Out Two Years of Lying

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—With his job on the line, Attorney General William Barr begged Donald J. Trump not to let one isolated incident of honesty wipe out two years of wonderful lying.

According to those who witnessed the Oval Office meeting between the two men, Barr desperately sought to remind Trump of the steady stream of outrageous whoppers that he had spewed during his tenure as the President’s toadying lackey.

“What about when I said the Mueller report exonerated you?” Barr pleaded. “That was a great one, wasn’t it?”

“And remember when I said that no tear gas was used on the protesters in Lafayette Park?” he said. “We’ve had so many good times together.”

The Attorney General tried to excuse his one moment of honesty as “temporary insanity” and assured Trump that it would “never happen again.”

“Even the greatest liars slip and tell the truth sometimes,” he said.

“I don’t,” Trump frostily replied.

White House Says Pardons Will Be Given First to Essential Frontline Criminals

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—With fewer than fifty days until the Inauguration, the White House is facing the daunting task of distributing thousands of pardons to those who are desperately in need.

In an effort to insure an orderly rollout of pardons, the Trump Administration announced that the first recipients would be essential frontline criminals.

According to the announcement, essential frontline criminals include all White House staffers and Cabinet members who have spent the past four years receiving improper emoluments, destroying evidence, and subverting democracy.

“These essential criminals have risked imprisonment day in, day out, for the good of President Trump,” the White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, said. “They need to be immunized, so that they can continue their important work.”

The announcement immediately raised concerns among frontline criminals, who fear that their swelling numbers, believed to be in the tens of thousands, could mean that there would not be enough pardons to go around.

McEnany, however, sought to allay those fears. “President Trump has invoked the Defense Production Act to ramp up the manufacturing of Sharpies,” she said.
