As a Member of Congress, I couldn’t even make a campaign phone call on my cell phone while in a government building. I could not do ANY campaigning on government property.

And there he was last night giving a campaign speech from the White House. It’s so wrong. **** Trump.

Nice to hear from a sore loser. It is such a pleasant change, not. "**** Trump" is not going to win the election.

Sorry Libs, the GOP Convention Had Better Viewership Than the Democrat Convention

Quote:
Even Brian Stelter noted, “Nielsen’s data sets count traditional TV viewership across America but largely leave out streaming and other digital forms of engagement, so the picture is incomplete.”

It makes sense that Stelter and others in the media didn’t wait for the complete picture, because the complete picture showed that a lot more people tuned into the Republican National Convention than the Democratic National Convention.

A lot more.

Across television and online streaming, the Republican National Convention got 147.9 million total viewers from Monday through Thursday, while Democratic National Convention got 122 million total viewers, according to figures released by both campaigns.

Now, I’m not a math genius, but I’m pretty sure 147.9 million is bigger than 122 million.

The Trump campaign also raised $76 million during its convention, compared to the $70 million the Biden campaign raised during its convention.

Guess that is settled.

1,200 students at the University of Alabama have tested positive for Covid in the last 2 days!

Comment:
Biden should never have demanded the students go back to school! (cynical)

We now have a birds eye view of how Trump has conducted business over the many years before he was in office.

If someone tried to buy or move in on something Trump wanted (we do live in a capitalistic society) Trump would call and threaten them...

If that did not work, Donald would go and smear their character in front of all of their associates. (He would get them fired).

He would call them fat if they were a women and, "nasty". Shame them with his lies and slander.

He would threaten their bosses with lawsuits, and incite violence against their businesses if they did not fire the people who stood in his way.

If they were Black or Latino, he would question their citizenship...

If they were Jewish he would question their integrity and how it relates to money.

It didn't matter if they were a decorated veteran, disabled, old or even a charity...

Trump would call the shareholders of a business, buy them off until his competition stood in utter ruin to insure he got his evil way.

This is the very definition of organized crime... Threats of violence, hate campaigns, racist and sexist thugs running around with weapons and credible threats to put their children in "cages"... until they relented and let him have his way.

This is the vision of America and ugly world of Donald Trump.

America is not safe with this criminal running rampant on our streets... Defiling our institutions for his own gain and threatening good Americans into furthering his own crooked, dark and selfish vision of power.

He is incapable of empathy and ethical practices and his pattern of self enrichment stands opposed to everything a free and fair society stands for.

His elite monopoly revolves around only himself and there are no boundaries of law and order that he feels he is not above breaking.

Come hell or high water, Donald Trump must to go down...

If he does not "go down"...we deserve every iota of what we will get as a result...and "what we will get" is a world of even more **** than exists now after Trump being in charge for over 3 1/2 years.

If America actually accepts him as president for another four years, any country not considering us a danger to the world deserves what it will get..and any that are that stupid will get a heavy dose of hurt.

Trump is a blight on America and the world...and his continuing supporters are just as much a blight.

Inciter-In-Chief: Portland, Oregon, Mayor Ted Wheeler Calls Out Trump For Stoking Violence
“What America needs is for you to be stopped,” says the angry Democratic mayor following the fatal shooting of a man during a protest.

He has already done that. Also he is lying like the other Democrats. Trump said he would stop the violence (when it started) they said no. Nothing will change those facts.

More and more it seem Trump is bringing us to Germany of the 1930s as reading the current news or watching Fox network is like watching news reels from that time.

@BillRM,
Trump and the MAGA-tards have no reason to quell the violence and every reason to further provoke hostility and division. Why else organize a caravan of supporters to confront BLM demonstrators and racial justice protestors? They knew it would cause a reaction — and just to make sure they pepper-sprayed people and pelted them with paintballs. It's not difficult to instigate racial hostility in this situation and every one of these flare-ups makes it more difficult for municipalities to restore peace and order. Lasting damage will be done to race relations — which is fine as far as they're concerned.

@hightor,
In fact, it would be nice - and this is how it is done in democratic countries - if the President of the United States would publicly declare himself in favour of peace and quiet.

Actually, Trump could do that, Walter.

It would be a LIE.

But he handles lying as good as anyone on the planet.

The people acting like Hitler oppose Trump. They are the ones out in the streets vandalizing, looting and now murdering people for wearing the wrong hat. Projecting that behavior on Trump and his supporters has already failed.

The Enabling Act of 1933 gave Hitler the power to enact laws without the involvement of the Reichstag (parliament), and to override fundamental aspects of the Weimar Constitution.
