@JeannethCupas,
-the opportunity for hr to play a major role is there with respect to helping organizations change the way they operate so that sustainable performance is what they are about. This is where hr can and should help organizations. It can be an important player in changing the cultures of organizations and the processes of organizations so that sustainability is an integral part of how they do business...

@JOHNMYLLE,
I just realized that an HR team player really do carry a heavy burden in an organization.. But what do you think are the common reasons of conflict in an organization?.. Don't you think an HR has something to do with it?

@JeannethCupas,
human resource functions as a filtering department for those who are interested to be a member of the organization/department. But the catch is, any desiring individual must pass and match the qualifications set for a specific position.

@JeannethCupas,
HR make sure that there's an alignment between the company's strategy and the human resource group's goals or performance. The key to alignment is to educate the individual employees throughout the entire company. If you're a senior HR manager your primary goal must be to create more of what we call employee strategic focus. You must help every employee in the organization to understand what her job is and how it contributes to firm's success. You can't do that by yourself -- you've got to partner with line managers to get the work done, and the task begins with being very clear about what those strategic objectives are and how people create value.

@joeru,
Do you think every employee will not resist to that so called "employee strategic focus"? What advantage will an employee get out of that focus?

@JeannethCupas,
Human Resources (HR) teams is the one responsible for facilitating the recruitment, retention and development of talent and should also be seen as a vital and strategic business partner. People, with the right talent and attitude, are the life-blood of any company and it's the HR Department held responsible for the recruitment and retention of such talent. However, HR professionals have become delusional with their role. Some employees feel held back or restrained by HR rules and regulations; they don’t feel supported in a way that helps them with their needs. Thus, a one of the many aspects that an HR Department should try to look into.
