@JeannethCupas,
I perceived that the HR in our organization has a lot of function. The HR deals with issues related to people such as compensation, hiring, performance management, organization development, safety, wellness, benefits, employee motivation, communication, administration, and training. . Human resource management strongly implimen the allocation role and all those human beneficiaries.

@JeannethCupas,
Human Resource is not only focusing on the hiring or the firing process. It is also concern on directing the employees. If we set it in a school setting, the Human Resource Professional(s) is/are the Guidance Counselor of an organization.

HR has a important role in the company. they are the soul & strength of the company. Why? For example (1) They need to know the needs of the company in terms of man power; (2) Needs to balance the ratio between man power & work in every department. This only the two of may reasons why HRO the soul & strength of the company.

@bagsjess143,
You mention about "safety of the employee",what exactly do you mean by that? I mean, are they really the ones responsible for employee's safety? Can't the company have somewhat "safety and security department"?. Just a thought, though.
