seismology of the moon goes back to 1968 and Im sure the idea of a hollow moon was jut a joke. The only thing I can imagine is there was an argument regarding a larger liquid ad solid core than there really is, and ince all the instruments were on our side of the moon we got some wonky data back in the 70's.
The moon is actually a trunacted cannoliform cylindroidal spheroid.
It’s a button. I’ve seen the footage, and what’s more science is on my side in the shape of Doctor Who himself, the fifth Doctor Peter Davison. Along with his with his then wife, the perennially annoying Sandra Dickinson, he sang the theme tune to Button Moon.

There are a lot of statements that destroy completely the theory of the hollowness of the moon. I assume it`s easy to find them on some space forums or just on Wikipedia.
The moon is a hollow spaceship used by our alien overlords to observe us.
