						Hi, I'm working on a university project, and I have a doubt about the scansion of this Emily Dickinson's poem, if someone could lend me a hand, I'll appreciate that!.
“The Moon is distant from the Sea —”
The Moon is distant from the Sea –
And yet, with Amber Hands –
She leads Him – docile as a Boy –
Along appointed Sands –
He never misses a Degree –
Obedient to Her eye –
He comes just so far – toward the Town –
Just so far – goes away –
Oh, Signor, Thine, the Amber Hand –
And mine – the distant Sea –
Obedient to the least command
Thine eye impose on me –

													@Julssss,
												meter is often odd in poetry as in life....
This reminds me of my old friend Bic. He'd introduce himself, "I am Bic'
Sometimes he'd repeat it 8 times, others it was as if he put a
hex on you.
Yep, that is all the assistance I'm going to give you.
