Honestly, I think the question is sort of dumb and having read through the answers given I have not been any more enlightened. Therefore, as a woman, this response makes me a bitch.

Bib,
I opt to answer seriously.
WOMAN is more than the familiar "female" anatomony. Many posters here have noted both 'her' characteristics, AND "her" physical makeup...I agree with them.
May I add, that being a woman can be described generally, much like Proverbs 31 (10-31). She does not have to be any certain size, or race, but she will be 'feminine'. Even if she is 6 feet 7, with a size ll shoe, and wears her hair an inch long. She does not have to be a wife, but she will not be disloyal to femininity in her thinking, or relationships.

(i hope i do not appear to be yelling. I just am experimenting with the graphics of the forum).

I think a woman is like water. Capable of being fluctuant, unpredictable, volatile, they provide an unsurpassed soothing, calming, nurturing essence; a necessity to life.

Thank you for the guidance, C.I.

Gala, I do not address it to anyone...but to all.
I like going to the 'reply button' (as opposed to this quick reply section) and experimenting with different styles of posting. This is all new to me, and these various methods are interesting.
I understood that you are serious, and of course I read you respectfully along with all the other postings.
