It is actually weird to know the southern part of the Netherlands, where I live, was liberated in just three months (September 1944) after D-Day, while the rest of my country had to wait another eight months (till May 1945) to be liberated, which cost an additional 25,000 Dutch lives - and maybe even more, considering the Jewish Dutch in the concentration and deathcamps in Germany.
Were you there then Rick?
Rick, the dude wants to know where you're living.
