It iis true that, because polar ice melts in larger volumes, it affects the circumpolar "conveyor" and subdues streams like the Japanese Current and the Gulf Stream. This allows these Polar air masses to mix with temperate cyclonic events and return as stronger blasts of winter weather . While last year was the warmest year on the planet (from all years ever recorded by humans), we still saw these rotating circumpolar blasts dip seeper outh than in the past.
SCience has predicted that, with a sharpening climate change to the warm, a quick switch -over to a "little Ice Age" is quite possible. SO in reality, as Penn State has been saying all along ,,--" Global Warming Leads to Global Cooling" .
