@glitterbag,
I know very little about it all, but am aware that it is a big thing over there, so I'll raise a glass later on in the hope that you've all had a good one.

Don't worry about the one or two yuropeens left here shuffling our feet.

We'll be OK.

Honest.

Except for dinner and a parade, it is mainly setting the stage for Christmas sales, these days.

It repeats a celebration by the early European settlers long, long ago. Almost 400 years now. Happy to repeat the tradition. Happy Thanksgiving.

@edgarblythe,
I see Snuffy couldn't quite bring himself to join the rest of them.

I'll save you a Turkey Leg, and lift a glass to you as well.

I almost have the kitchen cleaned up. Twas a nice quiet day. Rocky was beside himself when the cooking was nearly complete. I only gave him a few morsels. We ate around 1:30 or so. I sorted through strings of lights. Going to decorate this year.

I can still remember when all the stores were closed on Thanksgiving, I like that better. I hate to shop anyway, that why I do catalog and internet shopping.
