On This Thanksgiving Eve

My best buddy Antony and his partner flew into LAX today to spend the Holiday weekend with us. Of course the tart didn’t have enough sense to fly into John Wayne Airport, oh no he had to fly into Los Angeles, which took us close to two hours to get to on the day before a holiday.

Anyway, I’m making a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.

I’ll be following this Turkey recipe from Chef Ramsey. I’ve come to enjoy his cooking technique.

My husband will be helping with the side dishes and desserts and our son’s job is to help set the table and entertain our guest with his charming personality.

Heh, I've never flown into John Wayne.. have driven by it a lot though.
Y'all have a great visit (she says in her southern california voice).




Just watching the Ramsay video - he's right..

Ill have to check out this recipe. We wound up eating pizza for Thanksgiving dinner.
Now I have a weekend to just be calm nd I will read some new books Ive got started.
