That's a good question, and one with various answers, some say it's the Communists but I think it's the Unitarians

Nope..Smile

Two teenage girls charged in France for allegedly planning terror attack at Paris concert venue

TWO teenage girls have been charged in France for allegedly planning a terror attack at a Paris concert venue like the November Bataclan attack that killed 90 people.

The girls, aged 15 and 17-years-old, discussed an attack similar to the November Paris attacks in a series of messages on Facebook...

...The latest arrests come as French intelligence services revealed more than half of the 81 French minors who have left for Syria to join jihadist groups were female. 51 girls have left France for the battlefields of Syria...

That's really disappointing, because I always thought the koran was a 'copy' of the bible to some degree.

Tourists dead in shooting raid on Ivory Coast beach

FOOTAGE has emerged showing crowds of people scattering in all directions as gunmen open fire at a popular beach resort, killing at least 16 people.

Four Europeans are among the dead after at least three men stormed the Hotel L’Etoile du Sud (the Southern Star) in the coastal town of Grand-Bassam on Sunday.

An officer from the national police earlier confirmed at the death toll at 16. That number has since gone up and is expected to rise further. Officials say the gunmen, believed to be affiliated with Al-Qaeda, have been “neutralised”...

Record number of children arrested for terrorism offences in UK

BRITISH police arrested a record number of children for terrorism offences last year and the number of women detained also soared, official figures show.

While the total number of terrorism-related arrests fell, 16 children aged under 18 were held in 2015, up from 10 the year before and the highest number ever recorded, according to figures from the Home Office released on Thursday.

Meanwhile, 45 women were detained on suspicion of terrorism crimes — a 15 per cent increase on the previous year — and a continuation of a recent upward trend...

Brussels: the world’s terror capital

THE Belgian capital has long been considered the jihadist capital of Europe but that was more because of the disproportionate number of locals who have gone elsewhere, notably Syria and Paris to carry out deadly terror strikes.

The country is tiny — just 11 million citizens — but 500 of them have left to fight in Syria, mostly for Islamic State or Al-Nusra and al-Qaeda, the highest per capita of recruited fighters of any nation in Europe. Up to 40 of these jihadists were from the Brussels district of Molenbeek alone...

Authorities have already determined close to 5000 EU nationals are posing a direct security threat to Europe after having travelled to Syria for terror training and indoctrination by Islamic State. This is not an estimated figure but 5000 listed names of those known to have gone there for training with many suspected of having already come back and plotting home grown assaults...

As a note for anyone who follows these things - Jihadists who returned to their home countries after Afghanistan, caused terrorism related problems for up to 20 years after returning home.

Quote:
A documentary on UK Muslims has made some shocking finds – but how accurate are they?

But survey results from a new documentary called What British Muslims Really Think suggest that extremist thought among British Muslims is more pervasive than some politicians would like to admit.

The 615-page survey, which was based on a sample of 1081 British Muslims, found that 52 per cent think homosexuality should be illegal - compared to just 22 per cent of non-Muslims. Less than half said that it would be unacceptable for a gay or lesbian person to teach their children.

Almost a third (31 per cent) said polygamy should be legalised, with 35 per cent of 18-to-24 year olds saying it is acceptable to have more than one wife; 39 per cent said women should always obey their husbands - compared to five per cent of non-Muslim respondents. Only one in three refused completely to condemn the stoning of women accused of adultery.

Seven per cent said they support the idea of an Islamic caliphate, regardless of the methods used by Islamic State used to achieve it. 67 per cent opposed the idea.

Four per cent of respondents said they sympathised with suicide bombers

But not everyone agrees that the documentary provided a fair and accurate representation of Muslims in the area.

Shiraz Maher, a lecturer in war studies at King’s College London, said the survey was flawed because it only included Muslims living in more concentrated Islamic areas (making up at least 20 per cent of the population), or “highly ghettoised clusters” that didn’t represent the beliefs of their liberal counterparts in more diverse areas.

In a statement, the Muslim Council of Britain also criticised the poll, saying it lacked “academic rigor”.

In an opinion piece for The Guardian, British-Muslim comedian Aatif Nawaz accused the documentary of “making leaps” in their quest to find uniformity, saying not all British Muslims think the same.

@CerealKiller,
Islam used to be my religion. Oh and I am from Tunisia.
There are no peaceful Islamic nations. An Islamic nation is made of a -majority- of Islamic people.
People who dig deep inside Islam end up either by becoming extremists or atheists.
People who only know that there is something called Quran and someone called Muhammad identify as "peaceful".
There is no peaceful Islamic nation. Only violent nations with a few intellectuals that are all the time discriminated against.

As a Tunisian, I can tell that us being responsible of the majority of terrorists is quite a surprise and even Tunisians cannot accept this reality today.
Years ago, religion was not that important. It posed no threat.
First to get women practice their rights
First to make an institution
First that did not integrate any of Islamic nonsense in laws.
Things were just fine before the Islamic nation attacked. Little by little, things changed. People are split and the Religion men stand out there laughing at us.
No wonder why most of the terrorists are from here.

In short, no. As long as Islam is there, do not expect any peace.
