He means the "Universe" must be expanding into empty space, understandable because as I had mentioned, it's very difficult to picture in Mind's Eye

Of course our position is, that there's no such void out there, the Universe, including s[pace, is all that exists, and that there's simply no "outside"

If there were of course, it would be part of the Universe; but to me at least that's quite a stretch

Ah well. Ok thanks for the explanation.
But for me there is no expanding universe at all.
i see that a lot of logical fallacies are made when those people who call themselves 'scientist' talk about tbig bang, expansion etc.
