That wouldn't restore bvt's 'bi-polar' identity. It would be a schizophrenic exercise in posting on one's own thread under a second identity. Believe me, the hamsters ain't that smart.

I know I must be missing something. How hard is it to sign in on one's former identity? If you've lost your password, you can re set it.

I had to change my identity from Merry Andrew to Lustig Andrei. Those hamsters may not be all that bright but they're certainly determined and implacable. If there's a way to get back to being Merry Andrew I don't know what it is.

Bear has a profile page. All he needs to do in order to sign in is user name/password. Right?

Not quite. If, for example, he has changed his e-mail address and at some point had a glitch getting back on, he's screwed. This is what happened to me. I cannot sign in as Merry Andrew any more. The hamsters won't let me. I try to log on as Merry Andrew and I'm told I can't do that because someone else is already using that name. Don't ask me how that works. I'm no geek. But I know exactly what the problem Bi-Polar is having is. Nor are we the only ones who've been forced to change our identities. It's happened to others.
