Secret is to keep being flexible, mentally and physically. To feel young you have to be able to experience excitement, novelty, and wonder.

Wonder and feelings are not a problem. The mind is ready and willing to take me anywhere and everywhere, but the body refuses to listen. (lol)

Listen to your heart and mind. I know what you mean about your body, mine acts the same way.

Way to beat it, I guess, is to have several good books handy, play at A2K, and set aside at least 2 hours in the evening for watching a favorite old movie. That should do the trick,--- after I've removed all the mirrors in the house.

House mouse was in his hole, so I fed my cat some cheese so he would wait for the mouse with baited breath.

Teeth of the storm, that's what Florida felt, and now they've got a big cleanup under way. Many people killed, too; truly nature is an immense and terrible force when it turns against mankind- but that is probably wrong to say, to anthropowhatsit like that.

That is poetic, anthropowhatsit, though, and even weathermen talk about gentle breezes and fierce storms. Global warming really does seem to be playing havoc with our weather this year.

Year after year, time goes by faster and faster. Seems like I finish things that I don't remember starting.

Starting is something I'm good at, but I'm not great at finishing. Am I the only person who starts several new things in a day and doesn't really finish one unless there's a compelling reason, like tidying a room because company is expected?

Expected things from me are the ones I most dislike doing, and the ones I am least likely to finish. I would rather do things out of desire than out of social pressure or obligation.

Obligation is a 10 letter word, and very disempowering. It would be a happy world indeed if we could all do things out of desire instead.

Instead of strife, let me bring harmony: St Francis and Margaret Thatcher, load of rubbish actually. That woman could start a row in an empty house.

House agents love empty houses, and make money hand over fist from them, too. Should I sell my houes, do you think?

Think twice, think hard before entering any such transaction. Although some people like to downsize, a pad in the SW is a very sought-after asset, easy to dispose of, hard to replace.

Replace it by a campervan, I thought, for ease of travel. Or is that impossibly foolhardy, would you say?

Say, I find that a capital idea, as you will never become bored of either your scenery, or your neighbours. Though it might be difficult to drive through tiny Italian streets, or in Nepal.

Nepal would be a nice place to visit. For me, travel in the good old USA, a nice motor home, a lap top computer with wireless connection to the INTERNET, and mapping software and a GPS device, planing a trip and finding things to do where ever we visit is a snap.

Well, I've never been to Nepal but I kinda like the wind-chimes they have there, though they say it's hard to breathe there so I think I'll stay in the lower air. Saffron's not my colour and monks are kinda remote, the desert is more becoming and mirages are fun to float.
