Bar of chocolate may cost 70p or so, if the new law on healthy eating be introduced. Considerate planning or legal intrustion: you decide.

Decide I need my chocolate no matter the cost! Just give me the chocolate and nobody gets hurt!

'Hurt' was Johnny Cash's last song. It was voted the best music video ever made by the most prestigious English music magazine.

Magazine fires are the most feared hazard in the navy. If the matelots' stash of porn gets singed, well there's hell to pay.

Curtains keep out the evil rays of the sun. This pleases me, since sunlight makes my eyes bleed.

Bleeding of the patient or treatment with leeches was once a very common medical practice. I believe that leeches may be making a limited comeback- well they don't drink much.

Much of early medicine has proved to be of some use - perhaps cupping as well as bleeding could be a new and relatively cheap treatment, though I'm not sure what for. Any ideas on the very best way to treat a sore throat and incipient cold?

Cold feet, warm heart, they say ("them" again!). For a sore throat, I wouldn't recommend the Sweeny Todd method; there are bleeding limits.

Limits on your credit card are essential. Many people run themselves into ridiculous debt.

Debt is something with which many gamblers are familiar. Just ask, well, most of my friends.

Friends are the chocolate chips in the cookies of life, or so they say. Personally, I think most of my friends are the nuts.

Nuts and bolts is the name most people give to Laois Town. On the same road, it has both a mental hospital and a maximum security prison.

Prison might help Martha Stewart to create a new line of merchandise. The "Doing Time" line might feature sheets and towels with the logos of famous prisons, perky patterns for window valances, and a recipe collection with tips for enhancing the eye appeal of bread and water.

Water may be put under the bridge. But, that won't help if the river floods.

Reason and logic are not parts of some people's lives. To some, Plato's description of logic is all Greek.

Greek Orthodoxy is a strong part of my heritage. Sometimes, though, I am not as active with it as I would like to be, yet I always keep the ideals in my heart.
