Bowl of night...loosed the stones that put the stars to flight....wakes from fitful dream, then found it was all true.

True enough, waking to find the dream a reality can be disturbing. I used to go to a dream group where we discussed and analysed our dreams.

Dreams can certainly be very strange. I wonder sometimes where all the weird stuff comes from in one fevered little brain; also, do you sometimes (as I do) doze off in a meeting, fight it, and find as you drift in and out of consciousness your dream is merging with the actual?

Actual dreaming in a meeting - no, I haven't gone that far! But then I don't go to many meetings; the most vivid dreams I have are early in the morning when I go back to sleep for an hour or so.

So far, so good. As the Titanic's captain said, halfway across the Atlantic.

Atlantic side of Panama (the country) is the last place I went snorkeling. It was gorgeous!

Gorgeous snorkelling can be experienced in the Red Sea, too. The water there is exceptionally clear.

Clear ocean water is the best. I agree. My husband likes to scuba in lake water. Ugh! And the fish are so ugly!

Ugly is what I am feeling right now. I am too fat and I haven't taken enough exercise lately.

Lately my exercise habits are not so good either! I feel too plump to go to the beach. = (

beach babes? we're never satisfied with ourselves, are we. We are just mirror images of what the world demands.

About myself I must say that I too suffer from excess poundage. One of these days I will start with the long walks...

Walks are not on my list of things to do. Hopefully someday I will include it on my list.

List walking as one of the 'exercises' I actually like to do! I just need to do more of it!

It was back about a decade ago that I walked five miles a few times a week. I loved it... well, actually it was therapeutic, that was when my marriage breakup was happening and it helped me deal.

Dealing with stuff is exactly what I do when I walk.
That's why I want and need to do more of it and I hope all is well with you now, osso.

Osso's fine these days, the famous eye is stable, summer is here, work is ok, and so on. I did start a thread on Driving 101, which I'd like to refer folks here to.
