Underneath the kilt there is nothing worn. More than that I am not at liberty to divulge.

Divulge is what you have just done! Well, it must be extremely chilly with all that wind in the willows.

The Willows, Salford, is a famous entertainment venue especially for those who like 70s shows like ABBA tribute bands and touring dinosaurs like The Drifters. I have never been there but I bet they water the beer.

Beer at lunchtime can make you very drowsy, so I prefer to wait till the evening to start drinking. Tonight I am going to a Tapas Evening at the Fat Lemons Café - Totnes has its share of excitement.

Excitement? Sounds like fun, Clary. Wish I was going with you! I'm spending the evening with the kiddies. Hubby's out working late tonight.

Tonight I had an interesting table - 2 diminutive Spanish ladies well into their 80s, 1 woman who wanted to tell me everything about everything I knew about; and a couple of which the wife kept warning the husband againt drinking any more. I think being a widow out for a good time sucks!

Parents inherit their insanity from their kids! Well, at least I did. I wasn't THIS crazy before I had them!

Improving you say? Weather here is like the monsoon- oh sorry, wrong thread. The nation holds its breath as young Rooney goes out to do battle again.

Again, I was lucky in the betting - last night I won £5 off my youngest for Czechs beating Germans, and tonight in the sweepstake I got Rooney as first scorer. Oh damn, Owen scored.

Scored in the football game, I take it? We just finished basketball season over here. The Detroit Pistons won, which makes my family happy, being that we're from Michigan!

Michigan can be lovely if you are in the far northern portions. The original of Longfellow's Gitchee-Goomee is to be found at the Painted Rocks near Christmas, Michigan.

Christmas, Michigan, really? I didn't know that. I think Michigan is prettiest up north - northern lower penninsula, if you ask me.

Ask me no questions, tell me no lies, shut your mouth and you will catch no flies.
Jeez, where in the wide world did that come from?

From Ghoulies and Ghosties, and long leggedy Beasties, and things that go bump in the night, Good Lord deliver us! That's a Scottish prayer.

Prayer is often mentioned in song, as an expression of our innermost yearnings. "I believe that someone in the great Somewhere, hears every word", sang the Batchelors. I personally don't believe that, but what do I know?
