Future wars will be fought by the leaders of the countries at war. I wish.

Future? I can barely think about today! But really, plants are a good idea, unless you're giving it to someone who has a 'black thumb' like my mom!

I wish you shelter from the storm, a cosy fire to keep you warm...these are words from an old song but the sentiment is still relevant today.

Today I squeezed a very large zit on my ass. It hurt like hell when the sucker popped.

Popped? Me? We just see irony a little differently on each side of the pond, is all.

ah yes, one of her best; Peggy's, in that it is so 'earthy', and to the emotional point; and Letty's, in capturing the 'essence of reality' - lets keep dancing, and whatever there 'is', will take care of itself!

May I go from "Dancing"?

Dancing Bare, #3 squaw of Running Bear, was a big hit at parties. After the barbecue and the songs, they would roll up the buffalo-skin rug and watch her shimmy and shimmer in the moonlight.

true love--true love. For you and I have a guardian angel on high with nothing to do....but to give to me and to give to you.

You are on my wave length today, Letty, because I played a CD of Bing and Grace singing that very song this morning. It brought back a lot of sentimental feelings, mushy, but sweet.

ah, Aggie. Sweet were those songs of yore, when stuff made sense-- "Ah, nevermore", some bird did quote Laughing

Quote reporter asking Gandhi "What do you think of Western civilisation?" Gandhi answered "I think it would be a good idea."

Idea: Optimists see a glass half full, instead of half empty, they say. I'll go along with that.

That which is is that which is not is not is not that it it is.

Optimists lead me to South Pacific and more music and it's all Letty's fault. When the sky is a bright canary yellow, I forget every cloud I've ever seen -So they call me a cock-eyed optimist
Immature and incurably green.

Pessimistic is a trait we don't often associate with composers unless, of course, we're into country. Some of those country songs are about pessismists -you know, those folks who feel bad when they feel good for fear they'll feel worse then they feel better.
